Hey Clinic Community,
As we continue to welcome spring, I’m thinking about renewal, not just spiritually, but physically and emotionally. Especially for those of us navigating the often-overlooked shifts of perimenopause.
The truth is, inner stress builds up during this phase of life. But what we eat, how we move, and the way we begin and end each day can transform our experience.
🌱 Try this 3-day challenge to feel more grounded and vibrant this week:
1. Prioritize Protein. Add a high-quality protein source to your first meal of the day on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Ideas:
Eggs + a little goat cheese
Plain Greek yogurt with fresh berries (no added sugar)
A clean protein shake
I personally love Momentous whey protein, super clean, high-quality, and easy to digest. 👉 Use code theclinicnp for a discount.
Looking for a vegan option? Truvani protein powder you can find single serving packets it at Whole Foods or Walmart has been a great find for price.
2. Get Sunlight Expose. Pure sunlight (no sunscreen, glasses, or sunglasses) for 10–15 minutes first thing in the morning to help reset your circadian rhythm and support hormone balance. (Game changer for mental clarity, I promise you will start “craving” sunlight daily!)
3. Walk After Dinner. Take a 15-minute mindful walk, no headphones, no podcast, just your body, your breath, and the evening air. This small change can help with digestion, sleep, and stress regulation.
Let me know if you try it! I love hearing how these shifts land for you.
💫 Want to go deeper? If this kind of habit stacking and seasonal reset speaks to you, I’d love to invite you to a special half-day event in DC on May 2nd, or tell a friend!
Together, we’ll explore:
Hormones, nutrition, and movement strategies for perimenopause
Qigong + meditation with the incredible Mary Morrison of How We Heal, providing tools for clarity, confidence, and connection during this powerful transition.
✨ It’s going to be uplifting, restorative, and empowering.
